Fibre Dyeing
Plant Dye utilizes a revolutionary patented dyeing technology that combines natural, beautiful colors and dyes with an innovative ultrasonic fibre dyeing process. Dyeing is implemented at fibre level before the mélange yarns are spun. Dye-tanks are filled with batches of fibre together with liquid natural dyestuff and exposed to ultrasonic pressure waves that infuse the dyes into the pores of the fibre. This is what gives the unique Plant Dye color fastness results never before achieved with natural plant dyes, without adding chemical mordants, metals or salts. It’s all natural.
Top Dyeing
The eco-friendly Plant Dye ultrasonic dyeing technology can be applied to wool tops to provide beautiful soft worsted wool yarns in solid colors with excellent color fastness results. All without using traditional chemical mordants or fixing agents. We believe the wonderful and precious wool raw material is a perfect match for our high performance bio-degradable natural dyes.
Piece Dyeing
The high performance Plant Dye natural dyes are available for piece dyeing of silk and nylon fabrics and lace. Dyeing is done at lower temperatures to reduce energy consumption and emissions while still meeting industry standard color fastness requirements without the use of traditional mordants. The technology is applicable to both PA 56 (bio based) and PA 66 circular knits and wovens.
Yarn Dyeing
Plant Dye Natural Indigo delivers efficient dyeing characteristics and high color fastness for rope dyeing of denim yarns. Our plant-based aniline free indigo offers a truly eco-friendly alternative for the responsible manufacture of denim. The dyeing performance of our indigo dyes and dyeing technology currently allows for a 30% reduction in water consumption during dyeing compared with conventional indigo dyeing.
